this is why you should spit out seeds.

This is my digital picture. I'm pretty darn happy with the final results. I was aiming for something dark and creepy. It took a lot of work to get the tree cut out of its original picture.

So far, I have 151 views. I didn't expect that many views. Thanks everybody! I couldn't have done it without you guys. :D I feel like I'm giving an acceptance speech.

jaguar2x+texture

This is my final product of the double jaguar with a texture on top. I personally like the picture without the texture. Maybe if I got something more interesting than someone's curly hair, then maybe it would be a bit cooler.

jaguar2x.

This is my picture of the jaguars combined. I basically just erased in different spots to make them sort of blend.

I wish the left jaguar didn't have the light reflection spots on it. Other than that, it's good.

even more hmmm.

This is my third picture of my digital picture. I'm pretty darn excited to get this picture finished. :D There's a couple more pictures to be added.

hmmmmmm.

This is my second photo for my digital picture. Looking at the progress I have so far, it looks pretty cool. Hopefully, the final is gonna be awesome. :D

Don't laugh at how goofy I look.

new jaguar.

This is my second photo for the jaguar. I went layer happy on this photo. I got the layers again from Shadowhouse Creations. They've got some crazy, useful stuff.

The reason I like this picture better is because it's a closer crop. The closer crop makes the statue look more fierce. It's similar to the other picture with the grungy layers.

jaguar.

This is my photograph for the jaguar statue in front of the school. It has a texture from Shadowhouse Creations which has a giant variety of textures to be used.

I wanted the jaguar to look like it was jumping out of the shrubs.

I got inspired from a class I took at ATPI . The picture was of a raven flying out of the dark in an industrial factory setting.  I can't find the picture, and it was really well edited. It was digitally composed, but you couldn't even tell it was edited.

Hmmm.

This is one of three pictures I'm gonna use in my digital image. I'm still kind of iffy if I for sure want to use it.

There's still two more pictures to be uploaded. :D

selfportrait!

This is my self portrait picture. This was from a while ago, but I really like it.
I had to get a tripod and set it really low. Then run back and forth with a timer because I don't have a remote :[. I personally think this picture is kind of boring because it's really common to see a picture like this :/

colder

This is my colder picture. The difference between the previous is that the first just had a person bundled up. In this picture, it shows the snow and how it truly must be cold. I personally like the first because of the lighting and background blur.

Shooting in the cold, especially with the snow, was pretty tough. The snowflakes would land on top of the lens , and it would have trouble focusing.

Cold

This is my photo for "cold." Alexis Escobedo was kind enough to be my model for a few shots. The lighting was really nice that day, and the sun was actually out.

Check out Alexis Escobedo's blog. She's a great photographer. :D

Silhouettes! :D

This is my silhouette picture! :D
The idea was to go outside and get a picture of a pretty sunset. Then find something interesting to put on top of the sunset as a silhouette. At first, I wanted to get a picture of a child flying a kite, but it didn't look right. After searching for something that would catch the viewer's eye, I found a brush with a girl holding onto a balloon.

I like the results.

White on Whites

Sadly, I do not have a white on white to post.
It is a very sad day. :[

What I really wanted to do was to get a chess set and splattering blood onto the pieces. The idea behind the picture was to make chess look more intense than it already is.
