Gallery Night is coming soon.

Hey guys,

I have 4 photos showing in gallery night!

We're going to have a silent auction where you can bid on pictures and all the money goes towards American Cancer Society. I don't have a personal experience with cancer, but cancer isn't good so we're donating towards the fight.

So you guys should all come out and visit.

It'll be on the 21st of April at Martey Seybold Gallery.

self portrait.

As a photographer, it shows my story of how like I see things differently. At first I wanted to make it look like the lenses were attached my face, like the lenses were my eyes and not my hands holding them.

I guess why I decided to become a photographer is because I loved how you could capture a moment and make it dramatic, full of emotion, elegant, or just simple.  It was when I was like 15, I really got into photography and looked at pictures. It wasn't till like I was 17 till I actually got a camera and started taking my own pictures.

bianca tosca.

This is my original photo for Bianca Tosca.

This is the final photo with the edits and everything.  You can do tons of edits on photoshop, but sometimes it might not look as real. It's way easier to straighten hairs in real life than to edit it on photoshop. The background was pretty easy to change in photoshop, but it would have been better to just straighten the backdrop before the picture.

Gallery Night!

This a slide show of some of my pictures.
It's just an example of what's to come at Marty Seybold's gallery night on the 21st of April.
Everyone should come out and support our photo class.

jurassic park.

This is the final picture of the transformation assignment. I think it's pretty coolios. The first frame was photoshopped from the second frame.

transformers 2!

This is my last photo in my transformation series! :D

david hockney style.

This is my David Hockney style photo. It was a picture of a sunrise. The reason I posted this picture is because I love how the sky looks when the sun is rising or setting. I think I might do a project of sunrises/sets.

transformers!

This is my first photo in my transformation series. :D

words words words.

This is my photo word for photojournalism. It's not too great because it was kind of rushed.  The picture shows different students throughout Summit Highschool that display the school words.

The photo was taken by Lauren Burgress.

freeeeeeeeeeeze!

This was a photo from a while ago for our action photo. The figure is of an angel falling and breaking into pieces. I wish in the 3rd frame that it would have had the same depth of field and blur.

This picture goes along with the other picture. It was for our action photo. Alexis was brave enough to jump into a puddle on a volleyball court for me. I give her major props because it was pretty darn cold that day. I got the idea from a picture from a photographer from a photographer at ATPI.

The model is Alexis Escobedo in both pictures.

this is why you should spit out seeds.

This is my digital picture. I'm pretty darn happy with the final results. I was aiming for something dark and creepy. It took a lot of work to get the tree cut out of its original picture.

So far, I have 151 views. I didn't expect that many views. Thanks everybody! I couldn't have done it without you guys. :D I feel like I'm giving an acceptance speech.

Layers are from Shadowhouse Creations

jaguar2x+texture

This is my final product of the double jaguar with a texture on top. I personally like the picture without the texture. Maybe if I got something more interesting than someone's curly hair, then maybe it would be a bit cooler.

jaguar2x.

This is my picture of the jaguars combined. I basically just erased in different spots to make them sort of blend.

I wish the left jaguar didn't have the light reflection spots on it. Other than that, it's good.

even more hmmm.

This is my third picture of my digital picture. I'm pretty darn excited to get this picture finished. :D There's a couple more pictures to be added.

hmmmmmm.

This is my second photo for my digital picture. Looking at the progress I have so far, it looks pretty cool. Hopefully, the final is gonna be awesome. :D

Don't laugh at how goofy I look.

new jaguar.

This is my second photo for the jaguar. I went layer happy on this photo. I got the layers again from Shadowhouse Creations. They've got some crazy, useful stuff.

The reason I like this picture better is because it's a closer crop. The closer crop makes the statue look more fierce. It's similar to the other picture with the grungy layers.

jaguar.

This is my photograph for the jaguar statue in front of the school. It has a texture from Shadowhouse Creations which has a giant variety of textures to be used.

I wanted the jaguar to look like it was jumping out of the shrubs.

I got inspired from a class I took at ATPI . The picture was of a raven flying out of the dark in an industrial factory setting.  I can't find the picture, and it was really well edited. It was digitally composed, but you couldn't even tell it was edited.

Hmmm.

This is one of three pictures I'm gonna use in my digital image. I'm still kind of iffy if I for sure want to use it.

There's still two more pictures to be uploaded. :D

selfportrait!

This is my self portrait picture. This was from a while ago, but I really like it.
I had to get a tripod and set it really low. Then run back and forth with a timer because I don't have a remote :[. I personally think this picture is kind of boring because it's really common to see a picture like this :/

colder

This is my colder picture. The difference between the previous is that the first just had a person bundled up. In this picture, it shows the snow and how it truly must be cold. I personally like the first because of the lighting and background blur.

Shooting in the cold, especially with the snow, was pretty tough. The snowflakes would land on top of the lens , and it would have trouble focusing.
